A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing the S family. We’ve grown to be great friends, as our kids have literally grown up together. We were in the same PEPS group, and have continued to have regular get-togethers. Little JJ was a bit suspicious of my big black camera, as she is accustomed to her mama’s iPhone. She eventually warmed up after reading a story together with mom & dad. And we lucked out with some sunny weather outside where we played in the last of the fall leaves.
I’m catching up on a few sessions from last month! In reverse chronological order, here is the K family. Susan flew in from Nashville, so I needed to get a few great photos of her. After all, this was mom’s number one request: a few good photos of Susan that she could enlarge for the wall. But that 3.5 year old LK? He was every photographer’s most challenging subject, as he was on the GO!!! Thankfully, I was able to stop the blur a bit! The first photo in the slideshow is one of my faves. It proves that the kids don’t always have to be looking. The story in this photo is all about mom’s JOY!
I’m so excited about my new website! But I’m doing it myself and learning along the way, so be patient! Thus far, I’ve pleasantly surprised myself with the amount I’ve been able to figure out on my own. Let’s keep fingers crossed that this trend continues!
