The 10 on 10 always sneaks up on me, probably because it’s less than 2 weeks after the Letters to our Children blog circle goes up every month. Usually I get my shooting in for this project on the weekend before we publish, but this month it’s the actual due date!
{1} Wednesdays are my day off from my other job, so I drive the kids in to school whenever we’re all ready; usually a tad later than other days.
{2} Wednesdays are also “breakfast sandwich day” where it’s our weekly tradition to stop at “Old MacDonalds” to get Egg McMuffins and coffee for mama. I don’t have the heart to tell Avery that it’s “McDonald’s” and not “Old MacDonald’s”. I hope she calls it Old MacDonald’s forever.
{3} The kids know the routine. Avery shares her Egg McMuffin with the babies. She likes the cheesy side of the english muffin and the Canadian bacon. She shares the plain side of the english muffin and the egg with the babies. Bennett puts out his little paw to signal that he wants more muffin. This is a photo I’ve been wanting to take for a long time, because I never want to forget that little paw peeking out from behind his car seat. 
{4} Breakfast of champions. The receipt has a link to an online survey, and if you fill it out you get a free Egg McMuffin. They keep giving me these receipts so you better believe that we keep filling them out! 
{5} Jump! She’s been in the same swim level for a year and a half now, but this is major progress from when we started and wouldn’t even get in the pool.

{10} This dude has always been a good sleeper, but for the last 3 days has been screaming bloody murder when we try to put him down for bed. Perhaps he’s stalling to get a few more books with grandma??
